Bio

I am a Florida native and a proud graduate of Florida A & M University.    I have been married to my amazing husband, Andre', for 17 years.  We have two amazing sons, Andre' II-12 years old and Marcellus-11 years old.   I have been an educator for 18 years. I have a B.S.-Elementary Education, M. Ed.-Instructional Leadership, and an  Ed.S.-Instructional Leadership.

As I enter my 4th year at Wetumpka Middle School, I remain very passionate about servant leadership.  I have a vested interest in the Wetumpka Community as both of my children attended schools in our community.   I feel a deep calling to improve teaching and learning at our school. I believe one of my main roles as a leader is tapping into the strengths of others and bringing out more in them than they believed they could bring out in themselves.

One of my favorite quotes is “Leadership is communicating to people their worth and potential so clearly that they come to see it in themselves.” - Stephen Covey.

I am forever grateful for the opportunity to work collaboratively with the amazing faculty and staff of WMS.  It is my goal to serve this faculty, students, staff and community so that every student is empowered and every student succeeds.
